Research.

11/12/12 - my task is to take pictures of some locations and say why I have taken them and how they will contribute towards our production and research the BBC Three institution, and find out information about it.

I have taken two pictures which show similar locations and different times, this can help me and my group as we can see which time we prefer to shoot at. The time is vital to know as time changes over the course of a day, as we could shoot within the morning or when the sunset comes out, these little key things would make a big difference to our production work.
I took this picture, as we could use a location similar to this as it is very attractive, the sunset is about to come out and this would keep the audience engaged due to the colours. The low-key lighting within this picture creates shadows, the natural lighting of the sun stands out which connotes this scene may be powerful. Moreover, the sun has a shine to it which indicates this could be a love scene, where a couple may be, as stereotypically a couple would be in an area similar to this. Also, this would be beneficial to us as we could go here to shoot some of our drama, if we are doing a teen romantic drama.

This could be another one of our locations in which we decide to shoot in, as this is a very sweet scene, we could use this within our trailer as a couple are walking down here and talking, this would engage the audience due to the beautiful scenery and the background, the atmosphere of this would suit a romantic drama, so this could be used if we want to show some romance between someone, or even this could be somewhere someone has a dream about someone else, due to it suiting the scene.
