What do you think of our idea?
Our Idea is as it’s only a 2 Minute opening we were thinking of having a suspense type of title-sequence and then showing a similar theme throughout, having a girl running in a building she’s afraid of her past coming back in her life. This is shown in her body language and facial expressions effectively, creating suspense for the audience continuously. Our locations would be very effective, as having west fields as the background scenery this would engage with our audience we feel. Then we have a train scene, were the girl goes back and looks for the past but audience are unable to identify the person, there not aware of who he is, why he’s there and what he wants. And we leave it as that, only having 2-minute opening sequence
Good/Bad
If bad how could we improve on our idea to allow the audience to engage with it?
What we are trying to look for
We need this in order to find out what our target audience want, we will focus group them and give out these interview questions. We have given out to a few students to complete and these are the questions we are trying to find the answer for which could help us in our teen drama production as by knowing what our target audience want it will help us take that into consideration and put those thoughts into ours making sure the audience feel engaged when watching it. We have given a few open and closed questions so we can clearly see what the audience want. We have also asked them about what type of genre they would prefere so we could make this similar to ours. At the end of the questionnaire we have also given a brief paragraph of what our idea is to the target audience and are asking them what they think about it and what we can do to improve it.
