PROGRESS REPORT

11/12/12 - my task is to take pictures of some locations and say why I have taken them and how they will contribute towards our production and research the BBC Three institution, and find out information about it.

My task was to research about the BBC institution and from this I have gained a lot of knowledge about the socio demographics of the audience BBC three fit's into, this allowed me to find out information and inform my group about so as we need to know about a range of institutions before moving on, as we need to see what our target audience are watching on channels such as BBC three, E4, E entertainment and Channel 4. As by this we are able to gain ideas for our Drama, as we are able to see what shows are on before 9 which are pre-watershed. Also I have taken pictures to show different locations, and this is beneficial as we are able to see what location would suit our teen drama, and we can see different views and can decide what time of the day we want to shoot our performance.


17/12/12 - My task this week is to do a focus group interview to find out what teenagers think about our teen drama, and they will need to give some ideas on how they think we can improve on our teen drama.  I will continue to take pictures of locations or anything interesting which could help us with our teen drama. 

Our task as a group was to do a focus group in order to find out what the students think about our idea, and see what they are interested in, as we need to take into consideration their ideas as they are our target audience, and they could offer new ideas which we as a group may not have thought about, thus meaning our idea could be adapted on. This will help us gain a lot of information, on our target audience which is key. 

28/12/12 - I completed my previous task, and now my task to find out information about OFCOM, and to find out information about  the content, so what can and can't be shown within our production work. 

Our group got together at Dupinders house, we all worked together on our ppt presentation and rehearsed how we will present it, we also made a little video clip for the class to watch, in order for them to get a rough idea what we are going for, and also the we tried showing different camera angles, in order to engage the audience and we tried covering up the cinematography. We also spoke about the type of music we would prefer to suit our production, and the title sequence. We all took into consideration what we found out from our questionnaires.

02/01/2013 - I have completed all my work from last week, and now all I have to do is take pictures of locations and me and Dupinder will have a rough script for my group, and then we all will edit it together when we meet up next time as a whole group, also and then we can give Ashwaria and Mandeep a rough idea of how we are looking to pitch our storyboard, which will allow us to make progress. Also I have to help finish off the ppt and practise our lines as a group.

05/01/2013 - I completed my task of taking pictures of some locations which could suit our production work, me and Dupinder have planned out a rough script which we will edit when we meet our group, as we need to discuss on how to improve it. Also then we can make a storyboard, and we have finished our ppt and practised our lines. I have to find some sound which would suit our production work and post it up on my blog and find some potential actors for our production work. 

07/01/2013 - I have posted up some sound on my blog and found some potential actors for our production work. We presented our ppt in todays lesson, and done the lift pitch. It is mine and Dupinders duty to come up with a script this week.

ACTION PLAN!

Rashmi - It is my duty to make sure everyone has completed the work before the deadline, I have to plan out our script and find different locations to shoot in.
Dupinder - she is the leader, and she has to make sure everyone is producing enough work, which will benefit towards our production work.
Ashwariya- she is going to be in charge of make-up, props and costume whilst we are acting in our production work, and also make the storyboard.
Mandeep - he is going to film the production work and also edit the production work, and also help make the storyboard.

Over half term, we all have to research insitutions and read the ofcom rules and regulations so we know what to do and what not to do, also it is Dupinders duty to research more teen drama and analyse them, as well as the pyschographics. It is Ashwariyas duty to research different lightings and research more on ofcom. It is my duty to research lighting, sound, ofcom, and the content. It was Mandeeps job to research different sounds for our production work and also research more on ofcom.
